OmoReader is a free mobile application that helps people with dyslexia to read text comfortably. The author of the idea is Petar Reić from OmoLab and Locastic companies developed the app. The algorithm used in the process of separating the word into the syllables is the result of the original scientific work "Syllabification based on maximal onset principle for Croatian", published in the Speech journal. The authors of the paper are Prof. Ana Meštrović, Prof. Sanda Martinčić-Ipšić from the Department of Informatics and Asist. Prof. Mihaela Matešić from the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka.
